Resolved: ChristianMingle - They took my money, and immediately shut down my profile without notice
Christian Mingle voided the transaction and said the money would be back in my bank account within 2 to 3 days
I opened an account today, completed a very clean profile (nothing revealing about who I am, and certainly nothing obscene). After completing my profile, I purchased a one month subscription.
After completing that purchase, literally within seconds, I try to sign back in, only to find that "Your account has been suspended by an administrator..." I have no e-mail stating why and am completely locked out of my account (can't even get back in to discontinue my subscription. I've contacted them via e-mail and via their website to demand a refund. This is absolutely a shotty way to run a website.
I guess eHarmony would have been the better option after all. I do NOT recommend anyone utilize this "Christian" so-called website, as it appears they want my money, but don't want me as a customer.
Reason of review: After I paid, they suspended my account without notice and without providing a reason.
Monetary Loss: $34.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
ChristianMingle Pros: Platform seemed simple to use.
ChristianMingle Cons: Took my money and then kicked me out as a customer.
