Review in Media category from Tampa, Florida

Ho can you fall in love with someone you have never met. He's probably not a scam artist is more likely that you said something in text or message that he did not like but was unable to explain it to you because you were unable to pay attention and listen.

It is no wonder you're not married you keep turning men off, I myself have run into woman like you that start loving me before meeting me and that scares me. It was God's intent to meet someone in person to fall in love with them not to listen to words or read words on the internet. He most likely wanted to meet you and you probably pushed him away putting him off to the point where he did not feel like contacting you anymore, you have hurt yourself by being afraid of anyone on the internet. My suggestion to you is to get over it because you are Your Own Worst Enemy.

These may sound like harsh words but I think the only thing you will listen to is harsh words. If you don't want to internet date dont do it but if you want to meet somebody outside of it there is plenty of venues to do this. I'm sure that you did the same thing to men on the outside as you're doing hiding on the internet the way you're doing now you need to mature and learn the way to be a woman. Since I cannot see your pictures and I do not know what you look like but this is very important and if you are showing pictures of a younger age of yourself like many women have done then show up obese on a meet and greet not the pretty girl I was viewing on the internet then you will be disheartened again.

It doesn't matter if your obese just put the pictures up there. One last thing have you considered that you did not do anything wrong and he did not do anything wrong but the fact is he met somebody else he liked better and do not want to get into it with you once he becomes involved with this other person he has no obligation to you because he's never met you you are just a picture or not of someone on the internet with most likely a flaky profile and you were not for him.

Horrible horrible horrible! I've been on a few sites, this was by far the worst. I signed up and requested to cancel within a few HOURS and was told that although it was the first day, there was a no refund policy! And this is a "Christian site"? Lol. When I wanted to cancel early on with eharmony they honored my request and gave me a refund and told me I had a 3 days to continue to use it to see if they could keep me as a customer. This is a subpar and tacky site and honestly not worth the time of day to even glance at.

I tried to join over 2 years ago and was never able to connect up ,but they still continue to charge my credit card. I notify them when the charge my credit card not to, but they have kept charging my card now even though I have never received one introduction.

These people are totally dishonest crooks. I have to take them to small claims court to get my money back.Do not give these people your credit card number.

STAY AWAY FROM CHRISTIAN MINGLE

On the site the for 3 days, then they suspend my account. Can't reach anyone on the phone.

Never even sent a message on this crummy site.Over 20 contacts from women half my age with #text numbers in their user names. Folks take heed. This whole site is a BIG SCAM! Most of the profiles that were posted were incomplete and lacked what I would consider even basic Christian values.

The matches that were sent to me were not even close to my own. I was surprised how limited the matches were here in my area.

Just paid for one month subscription, but after reading these reviews, maybe not. Once again, SCAM, STAY AWAY!

Christian Mingle Site plus cancellation policy

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I joined Christian Mingles thinking it was a Christian dating site. The closest match was several states away.

For that reason and because I recently found out that I have cancer, I called to cancel. Today I called the Customer Service number, a number that covers several websites and is not a dedicated number. I requested that my account be cancelled due to the above stated reasons. I was told that I could not have a refund for the unused portion of what I had already paid, even though they will have my money without any services provided by them.

I told the Representative that I have never dealt with a company that did not prorate the services provided and repay the amount not covered by service.

The reference to "Christian" should be eliminated from their title. If this is their example of Christian," it is no wonder that Churches are loosing members in such large numbers. Supposedly their position was that no refunds could be provided was obscured sine I did not see it on any of the forms.

Additionally, the age range was incorrect as was the search range. No attempt was made to provide me with a statement of my profile.

This is the worst dating site ever, women beware! Most men are really married, or and post pictures from their military years, when they were young and fit..some men are not men at all, just cowardly so called, non-Christian men who believe their own lies. Save yourself, don't set up a profile and be a victim of emotional, waste of time abuse!

Totally Agree! I had the same experience!

I spoke with men who were only available during office hours. One guy called me and he was drunk as a skunk! Many liars especially regarding age and relationship status. Worse site ever!

I know a lot of profiles were fake due to lack of membership!

I cancelled my Credit card bec I didnt want the hassle. I feel ripped off and duped!

What a joke

This site is a complete joke. Some profiles on here look too good to be true - that is because they are fake.

Nobody ever messages you, you just get creeper notifications that guys have looked at your profile, which is also annoying.

I hate this website, and I wouldn't recommend anyone go on here. It is a COMPLETE waste of time, mainly because they boost their site with fake accounts of guys who are too good to be true.

Totally agree that the โ€œChristian Mingleโ€ website is a complete joke! Most dating sites are. Just have to meet someone the old fashioned way.

Lol idk why people are surprised that this "christian" run organization acts so nafariously. They are being exactly what they say...

Christian. They can be *** during the week, get forgiveness on Sunday and go back to cheating people out of their money the rest of the week.

Christianmingle Online Dating Review from Irvine, California

I wish i had read the reviews before i joined. This has been a waste of money and very frustrating. I get numeerous smiles, some emails and i guess none are valid because they will not open up. Their is never anyone available at christian mingle to speak to and get help. When i go out of town i am unable to see members that i am interested that are in my same state, so i can keep in contact. I get members who are near where i am visiting. Shame on u that u do not make life or this experience easier. Oh yes and my matches are 4 yrs old. Really. Why don't you remove these off ur site.

Got charged for the 6 month renewal and i didnt want another 6 month subscription. I sent a message to the billing department and they told me to call, i called and spoke to a very polite guy who let me know i was elligible for a refund.

He also helped me remove my card information and delete my profile. Altogether maybe a 10 minute call.

Mingle Billing is a very profesional business and you will deal with very polite and professional people. Just dont reign fire and brimstone down on them just because one of their affiliates is a Christian dating site!

It looks like my account has been suspended and I do not know why. I just can't get on the site again, which means that I do not have a phone number to contact them to ask about the status.

Do you mind sharing the number that you have so I can at least cancel any future payments to them.

I really wish I had read these comments before I signed up. Thanks for any help you can give.

WORST WEBSITE EVER. AWFUL STAFF AS WELL

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I joined Christian Mingle to find a girl with similar interests and someone who has a strong faith in God like myself. First off, I couldn't even find a member in my area who I could message because none of them were subscribers, so there go's my $38 down the drain, and of course when I asked for a refund for this awful service I never got it. Never will I ever use Christian Mingle again and I will make sure nobody I know will ever think about clicking on this site. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!

Christian Mingle steals money again!!!

HAHAHA! I asked the woman I was talking to if she believed in God. She wouldn't answer that and told me it was none of my business. Well if you are running a "Christian" company/website, shouldn't you have those morals and values???...enough said. Writing a letter directly to the CEO. I would love it if people who have had this same problem would all come together and sue their pants off. Renewal fee for something I am not even using. I was told they shut down my profile because they sent me a refund (not true)!! Then turn around and said they turned it back on. Im soooooooo pissed!!!

Totally DISSATISFIED with Christian Mingle

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I signed up for a six month trial period. After six months I was charged an $89 renewal fee. When I contacted Christian Mingle about it, they refused to refund my money and told me they sent a renewal notice (which I did not receive). This is just bad business on their part. If a customer does not renew on their own, they should NOT be charged. In my book, this is borderline scamming the customer. Also, if a customer is unhappy or wants out, they should not be forced to continue on the site. I will not be using this site ever again and I DON'T recommend it to anyone!!

Another victim here of them stealing $90 from me. I paid $20 for the 6 month trial.

I made a profile and never even logged in after that. Now I am being charged $90 without my authorization. They are refusing to refund and I am cancelling the day of the charge.

They are thieves and I do not understand how they can get away with charging me $90 for a year of service and I am not even using a day! Just goes to show you how some 'Christians' are more evil than you could ever imagine.

Guest

I am currently having the exact same issue (also with a 6 month membership). They are saying that I never cancelled my automatic renewal, when I know for a fact that I did.

My girlfriend also had the same problem and had to write a letter to get her money back.

Fraudulent billing practices from a supposed Christian site. Disgusting.

I got an email instead by saying I had agree to the auto-renewal, I don't see that when I signed up. I think they already made up an email just for everybody that complaint the billing.

They sent out tons of non-sense emails everyday which no one would care, and I did find an email that said my account will be auto-renewal.

But how can they do that without my permission?

Do you guys know how to get the money back?

Guest

I am having the same problem. I haven't even touched the site since their said "renewal" date.

I went to my bank to dispute charges and some how they won. When I look up charges from them on when my "term" should be, I paid on 6/22/15. Renewal should be 12/22/15 (when I was charged). Yet they say that my renewal was 12/15/16.

How can that be? Also, how convenient since my last login was 12/19/15...hmmmm...

ChristianMingle - Chrstian Mingle deceptive advertising

I purchased a subscription only after waiting for a special. I wasn't going to spend money on these website.

Until I saw in huge bold numbers $7.99 a month I immediately selected that option and entered my credit card information. About a day or two later my account went delinquent because they had taken $49.95 out of my account. I tried calling to get a refund and the rep and her supervisor(employee #1055) refused to give me a refund because it states in small print that it is a one time fee. The small print/deceiving advertising has got to end!!

It stated in the BIGGEST print $7.99 a month. I cant believe a "christian " website would choose to be soo deceptive in this "small print scam" I highly recommend NOT to use this website or be VERY careful due to their HORRIBLE customer service and deceptive charges.

Being any kind of religious person or site doesn't have a thing to do with integrity. I am surprised to see that anyone would think being a Christian has something to do with being fair or just.
